While it seems like nothing is certain in these days we decided to follow our dreams right now. Like Winston Churchill already pointed out some time ago: “Never Waste a Good Crisis!”.

Perfect time to make the move and start a new way of living! Sold our house in the Netherlands and rented a quinta (farm) in Central Portugal to start looking for our own place, a sanctuary where we want to welcome and shelter good friends, birds, animals, plants trees and veggies, singers, poets, musicians, writers and philosophers, with lots of love and creativity.

So that’s for the dreaming part, reality is we are now living in a big mess: packing up things and making a tight selection of all stuff we’ve been collecting through the years;-)

No problem, really looking forward to make the move!

We gaan het gewoon doen!

Terwijl het lijkt of niets meer zeker is in deze dagen hebben we besloten om juist nu onze droom te volgen. Zoals Winston Churchill al zei: “Never Waste a Good Crisis!”.

Perfect moment om een nieuw leven te beginnen! We hebben ons huis verkocht en een boerderij gehuurd in Centraal Portugal zodat we van daaruit kunnen zoeken naar ons eigen plekje, een toevluchtsoord waar we goede vrienden, vogels, dieren, planten, groentjes uit eigen tuin, bomen, zangers, dichters, muzikanten, schrijvers en filosofen met veel liefde en creativiteit gaan ontvangen.

Tot zover de droom, de realiteit is dat we nu met één grote bende in huis zitten: alles inpakken, strenge selectie maken van de spullen die we in de loop der jaren hebben verzameld;-)

Geen probleem, we hebben er zin in!
